I came to Japan in April last year. Ever since I was a child, I have always dreamt about studying abroad. Even though it seems very hard but if I could learn in the university here I would get much of knowledge which will be precious for me in the future. Now I am very happy living and studying in this beautiful country.

I think I’ve changed a lot since I came to Japan. Now that I’m studying Japanese at here, I feel like this is the beginning of my dream. I’m very excited, inspired and encouraged to learn more and more. Teachers are very kind and do t h e i r best to teach and answer my questions. If you’re thinking about studying in Japan, in my opinion, J is one of the best choices.

Year 2010 has already passed, this year I’ll do my best for my exam.”

Autumn 2010 was a special season for me. It was the time that I came to Japan. And now, 3 months later, I have met a lot of people from many countries and enjoy good days in Japan. This school has various students from different countries such as Taiwan, China, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand. We are all study hard for our goals.

The teachers here are really great. They always give their class the best. I came here just 3 months ago but I have grown up a lot. Because of these teachers, my Japanese is getting better every day.

“I still remember that feeling when I first came to Japan. It may have been my destiny with this school, for I usually hesitate and confuse, but I choose this school immediately. I couldn’t sleep the night before class began but when I met the teachers a l l my worries were gone. They always said ‘Tell me if you have any problems’. They are so reliable and I feel comfortable.

Now I have graduated and life at this school becomes great memories. Life in Japan is not easy; there are many things that a foreigner like me couldn’t have known. But I think life is more interesting with a little bump here and there. I have no fear to try any new things. Follow the dream, don’t give up and it will come true. This is what I’ve learned here.”

“When I came to Osaka, Japan, I was so worried about the new surrounding of my life. But, as I have studied here for 1 year, the teachers and friends always cheer me up. Now all my worries are gone. Even when I was doubtful about my future education, the teachers would help and support me. So now I could study in the field that I like.

Not only the language but I also learn Japanese culture from school activities such as, – tea ceremony, Yukata wearing – I am impressed.”

“When I was in high school, I always dream of studying in university in Japan. I took a lot of examinations in many universities but they all failed. I passed JLPT level 1 but there must be something I lacked. So I decided to take course at this school. One year passed, now I could study in Osaka City University. The teachers didn’t teach only Japanese. They teach me how to live happily and have a good university life. Many thanks to the teachers.”

“When I first came here I didn’t know much about Japan, didn’t have any goals like others. I just wanted to get out of Korea and live by myself so that I may find what I love to do. Now I’m studying fashion design at ‘Osaka Mode’. Because of this school, I, who never prepare for anything, could have a chance to make my dream comes true. The memories when I was here with teachers and friends are unforgettable. And I will do my best on my study.”

“I want to learn ‘Japanese Cooking’ I set up my goal and come to Japan. I am confident but not so sure if I could do it well. I have met a lot of new friends and teachers here and with their advices and encouragement; finally all my worries are gone. I have participated in some activities such as speech contest and field trips. It helps me to speak Japanese with more confident.

Now I am studying at Tsuji with a lot of new friends but I will never forget the memories I have at J Kokusai Gakuin.”


PARK JIYOUNG(South Korea) Advanced to Kobe University

“ I recalled this phase ‘ Funny how time slipped away ’ yes, half is loneliness and another half is joy. One year - from first class to graduation day – gone by so fast like yesterday’s story. At first I couldn’t speak Japanese at all but the teacher didn’t mind. They listened and corrected my bad Japanese. I studied so hard and as I graduated I can speak fluently.

Now I am studying in university and have no problem understanding all the stuffs. I believe this is because of the school. I wish everyone would have great time at this school and have a bright future.”


Semenova Elena (Russian)

I was born in East Russia, graduated from university in Khabarovsk and now I’m studying economics in university in Germany. I could come to study in Japan because of I’ve receive scholarship from DAAD Alumni Club in Japan. Actually this scholarship is made for Dutch people, so I was really happy when I know that I they decided to give me a chance. I’ve been study Japanese language and culture for about 10 years, so this was like a dream to see Japan with my own eyes.

Before coming to Japan, I was worried if I could communication in Japanese well but the teachers and staffs are very kind to me. All of teachers give good class, they corrected my mistakes, explain what I don’t understand.
